The children from Flying Start @ Camborne and Rosewarne After school club embraced the cold weather with a spot of Tin can cooking recently!

The evening was organised by Nic Morris, who is a Forest School Leader and currently leads the After school Fun Club @ Roswarne.

The aim was to share some of the activties the children participate in when they go on their Forest School outings with their parents, so the staff decided to host a wintery social event at Camborne nursery.

Despite the miserable rainy weather the evening went ahead and the staff were delighted as the majority of the parents turned up with their children to join in the fun!

They all learnt about Tin can cooking and by simply using some basic equipment that most people have at home in their kitchen, a tin can, foil and a tealight, they can make scrumptious food! 

The staff received lovely comments from the parents' about how enjoyable the evening had been and would like to thank everyone for their continued support!
