The children from Flying Start @ Helston started their winter celebrations by  joining in with Diwali celebrations last week!

The pre-school children were really interested in learning about the story of the Hindu 'Festival of Light' and participated in making Diva lamps, creating Mehndi patterns and wearing traditional Hindu dress!

Diwali marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year and the start of the winter festivals that we celebrate @ all our Flying Start Nurseries!
