The children from Flying Start @ Duchy planted a variety of bulbs this week in preparation for next spring time!

Julie, a keyworker at the nursery, had Daffodils and Crocus bulbs for the children to plant and learn about, they talked about looking after the bulbs and  how they will grow. She then showed the children pictures of the flowers that will grow from the bulbs and together they looked them up in the gardening books they have at the nursery.

Some of the children had never seen bulbs before and Julie cut one open to show them what was inside. They were all very excited that each bulb would grow in to lovely flowers and make their nursery garden look beautiful!

It is such a shame that we have to wait until Spring to see them!!!
