The children from Flying Start @ Rosewarne have been really lucky to visit the Eden Project recently!

Every day the children have access to amazing natural surroundings at the Rosewarne site of Duchy College, where their After School Club is based, but they were so excited to be going to explore the exotic plants, vegetables and the Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes! (And not to forget a picnic lunch!)

They definately look like intrepid explorers in this photograph...don't you agree?

The children's most favourite part at Eden was the banana plants in the Rainforest Biome, and they learnt about where and how the bananas grow, which they found facinating!

They also participated in a huge water play session that Eden was hosting and were able to develop their problem solving skills, as they were challenged with transporting water from one area to another using only tubes, containers and guttering! It sounds like everyone had great fun!!!
