The children from Flying Start @ Marjon have been experimenting with water flow this week!

The children at the nursery were provided with equipment such as guttering, stands, jugs and crates, and supported by the staff to begin to learn about how water flows and simple directional language.

The children were set the challenge of filling the bucket at the end of the water course and started by participating in lots of problem solving and experimented with different sizes, heights and directions. After lots of collaborative working they achieved their goal and everyone had fun doing it on a nice sunny day!  Well done!
