The children from Flying Start @ Camborne attended a 'wedding of friendship' last week.

The children have been learning about special days and promises recently and the staff wanted the children to experience them in real life!

The two oldest children made promises to each other to be best friends through good and bad times, and especially when they are poorly! How sweet!

Rev Mike Firbank conducted the ceremony at Camborne Parish Church, and like any other wedding along with the bride and groom, there was a best man, bridesmaids and guests. The children sang songs after the ceremony and thoroughly enjoyed the day!

Shelley, the Manager of the nursery, was really pleased with the celebrations and commented about how it had provided first hand experiences for the children and helped them understand the importance of these special days!
